Philippe Starck, one of the most famous modern designers alive, is recognized for his bold reinventing of everyday objects. A classic example of Starck's innate creativity is the Ghost collection he designed for Kartell. Starck designed the Ghost chairs by reinventing the classic Louis and Victoria chairs in both an armchair and armless version by blending ultra-modern techniques and material with old world style.

Made of transparent or batch-dyed polycarbonate, while light in appearance, these chairs are extremely durable. The juxtaposition of time periods makes this chair an instant hit in any setting.

What do you think? Where would you put the Ghost chair in your home?
