Color Me Happy
As you may have already learned, I love multi-colored items. They make me think of rainbows which have to bring a smile to anyone's face. This morning I was perusing one of my favorite source for accessories, the MoMA store, and came across some fantastic items. Check them out...

Quote Me
Whenever I see typography art in someone's home or any kind of quote in art form, I always think that I would like to find the perfect quote for my home. I still have not found the exact one that jumps out at me but here are a few quotes I have seen recently that I really like. Do you have any favorites?

Move Over!
Banquettes, breakfast nooks, whatever you choose to call them, they are a wonderful addition to any home. Not only do they look great, but they are extremely practical and comfortable. You can seat many more people than you can at a table with only chairs and kids love the relaxed atmosphere.
I have one in my kitchen and I have to say it was definitely a great investment. If you have the proper space and are deciding between a regular kitchen table and a banquette, as far as I am concerned, it is a no-brainer!

Black Revisited...
I apologize for the short hiatus but I was away in Florida for a well needed girls weekend! Great friends and lots of sun - perfect!
So, I wanted to revisit a post I did when I first started this blog. Black painted walls are definitely one of my faves! I am still deciding which room in my house is going to be graced with this phenomenal color (or non-color as some may say...).
Do any of you have black walls in your home? Do any of you actually despise the idea of black walls in your home? Please share!
Enjoy these lovely images.

Stripes...
Ohhh how I love stripes! They are always in style and can be used in so many applications. I think I actually have some sort of striped pattern in every room in my home. Whether it is as subtle as a pillow or as extreme as the walls of an entire room, I never get bored of stripes.
Check out how phenomenal stripes look in these images. Which is your favorite?

Chalk on Furniture....
It seems that my recent post on Chalkboard walls really piqued a lot of readers interest. So, this morning, when I came across this totally awesome cabinet I knew I had to share it with you.
Designed by Peter Jakubik, a well known designer from Slovakia, this piece of storage is named the Primary Cabinet. How fun would it be for a child, or even an adult, to be able to alter the appearance of their furniture any time they wish?
